Will Android replace Apple in the future?

Nowadays it is very hard to see someone who doesn’t have a mobile phone. And another fact is that it is very hard to see someone who doesn’t have an android powered phone or a Smartphone. When the era of Smartphone’s started the only name in the industry where that of the tech giants apple’s iPhone. But with the introduction of android by Google the situation has changed a lot. Now apple has got a strong competitor and Google is a very good competitor. A very good example for this is the increased number of sales in the case of android enabled handsets than that of apple’s iOS enabled iPhone. Android mobiles are coming with exciting features than that of any other counterparts. And because of this reason more and more people are now selecting android enabled Smartphone’s than any other Smartphone’s. Another important factor that makes people to select android powered Smartphone’s over apple’s iOS powered Smartphone’s is the huge price difference existing in between them. And many strongly believe that android is enough to carry out their day to day functions with a very minimal initial cost. And moreover the one going for iPhone won’t have much option to select from. There is only a limited number of products available based on the working of iOS. But this is not the case of android. There are large numbers of manufacturers who are making products based on android platform. This gives the customers a chance to select the desired product from a wide range of products. Another important drawback of apple’s iPhone is its lack of memory increasing option. In this set of mobile phones the company doesn’t provide an external card slot. So this is not a good feature. Once the memory gets used up the user has to change the data to another device or has to delete some of the apps that are installed in it. On the other hand this is not in the case of android phones. Almost all the android enabled Smartphone’s provide an external card slot for the memory cards. By this method one can increase the memory capacity of his phone by increasing its memory capacity through an external memory slot. An iPhone generally comes with a memory option of 8GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB. As the size goes on increasing the cost of the phone also goes on increasing. Another major factor that distinguishes an iOS powered apple’s iPhone from that of the Google’s android powered handsets are just the availability of apps. Apple makes apps available for their customers through the app store where as the android provide it through the play store. Since being an open source Google’s play store has much more number of paid as well as free app’s than that present in the apple’s store.
